Quaid: David Tennant To Leave Doctor Who

After filming is completed on four Doctor Who specials set to air in 2009 David Tennant, the tenth doctor, will not be returning for season 5.

As far as I'm concerned(and fans around the world) David Tennant has cemented himself as a scifi icon and he will truly be missed.

The 11th doctor has some VERY BIG shoes to fill.

Cohaagen: I think we all thought the same thing about filling Eccleston's shoes and the casting turned out alright last time. What I'm more worried about is the writers' ability to continue coming up with new and interesting stories. Must every climactic moment in the series have something to do with Daleks or Cyber Men? There have been a lot of really good nuggets along the way, but as far as the main story arc goes, it's getting a little contrived and predictable.
